She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Nearly a month's time has passed since Ganon's demise and life in Hyrule can now resume without any fear of invasion. Zelda is finally crowned as queen of the kingdom, giving Link the time and rest he desperately needs. With all this said, Link can't shake the fact that their victory came with a price that cost him his dearly beloved, Mipha. Unable to bear the burdened thoughts any longer, he seeks for a way to reunite with his lost love, even if for a moment.
