Vigilante

A tall boy wearing a trench coat steps out of the dark. I can only see his eyes, the rest of his face is covered with a mask. For a moment I just stare at him. I don't think I saw him on the camera. I saw a few of them and none of them matches this boy's features. This is not someone I expected to see here. It's just a feeling. But don't think he has no involvement with the vigilante group I am trying to find. If he is just a random boy happens to be here, why is he wearing a mask? Is he one of their messengers? Did they receive my message? Last night I changed the timestamp on one of the footages from the street cam system. They must have received my message. That must be why he is here.

His eyes reflect street light. "It's not safe for you here." It is the first thing he says. His voice is deep and rough.
"Because there is a masked stranger in front of me?" I should be afraid talking to a stranger in a deserted alleyway, alone at night. But I am not. Not now. This person doesn't scare me for some reason
"That is not why you should be afraid." He says.
"Afraid?" I frown.
"You won't find it here, what you are looking for." He says.
"You don't know what I am looking for." I say.
He takes a step back to the direction where he came from. "Go home." It's all he says.
"Wait," I say. I don't know what I have to say to him. But this might be the only chance I'll get.
"Go home, Nia."
"How do you know my name?" I ask. My heart races.

"I know who you are." He looks at me. "Now, go."
I look back at him. I don't say what I came to find here. I walk back to my car. But I will keep looking. I will not stop.
