Liam, a quiet trans boy finds his entire world thrust upside down when his Mom decides to uproot his whole life and move to, in his words, "a stupid seaside village". He finds a mysterious picture with an even more sinister note, warning people of a door that leads to a nuclear shelter. When him, his older brother Robin, and his brothers boyfriend Noah decide to go exploring, they find themselves lost in an endless maze of yellowed walls, and an ear splintering buzzing.
Helina, a diabetic girl and the pasters golden child runs a famous blog account with her best friend Sam. They both dream of becoming famous poets, and moving to Paris, where they'll live together until the end of time. When Helina gets a comment warning her of the same mysterious door, they decide to go exploring, finding themselves lost in the backrooms endless tangle of mazes. With only twenty four hours left on her insulin pump, and one vial of backup insulin, can Helina survive?
