Whisper of the Tides

Valkyrie never knew what love was. After losing her mother at a young age, her father turns to the bottle, mistreating his daughter until she is left with nothing but solitude. Fighting for her life, Valkyrie spends her days wandering the streets, hoping for a chance to live the life she dreams of having.

Loki was raised as the second Prince of Asgard. He lived his life in luxury while learning the ways of magic from his mother, Queen Frigga. Though he has companions in his brother and friends, Loki has never felt more alone. He fears living as the second son and within his brother's shadow. He turns to mischief as a means of escape.

On a chance meeting, they face a new adventure together when Valkyrie saves Loki from trouble. A rare friendship blooms between this meeting, and both become inseparable. But when Valkyrie faces death, Loki will stop at nothing to ensure she lives. Through trials and tribulations, Valkyrie learns that love is meant to be affectionate, while Loki learns there is more to life than living in a shadow.
