With the facts that Mumbo Jumbo is a vampire like species and the up-coming heir of his parents company while Grian Watcher is an avian like species who is also going to be the up-coming heir of a fantastic and very rich company, they were presumably stuck together due to their arranged marriage by their parents. With Grians short temper and Mumbos lack of self confidence, will they end up becoming friends in the end? More or less than that? Who knows. Oh wait, you would if you read the book. :)
