Helen Foster hated Tom Riddle for four reasons: 1) Their initial conversation in first year. 2) That prefect badge-the badge that was rightfully hers 3) His insufferably strict adherence to the rules 4) The fact that no matter what, in every single thing, he always, 𝘒𝘭𝘸𝘒𝘺𝘴 had to be better than her. So when Helen is paired with Tom for a semester-long potions project, she's the very opposite of thrilled. But when their work uncovers a secret that draws the attention of one of the darkest wizards of all time, everything changes. Suddenly, Helen is tangled up in something going far beyond a simple school rivalry, and, much to her annoyance, Tom is the only person who knows and is the only person who can help. That is, if they don't kill each other first.
