A girl who wanted love.

A boy who wanted anything other than that.

💌

Logan Davenport had all a high school boy could want. He was popular, had a lot of attention from the female population (unsurprisingly), was captain of the school's hockey team, and came from a very rich family. But there was one little thing staining the white peace flag which was his life: his grades.

And, of course, the universe decided to reward him with a 32% on his Math exam.

But, at lunch time, when he and his friends carry on with the tradition of giving eachother a prank to pull off until the end of the year, he gets dared to sleep with Alexandra Grey. The fucking maths teacher's daughter.

On the one hand, she's very obviously innocent. It'd be too much of an asshole-y move. On the other hand, he really did want to get some sort of silent revenge on Mr. Grey.

What should he do, when his mind and heart threaten to go different paths?

Everyone at school knows Melody Plum is the smartest, best-behaved girl at Sacred Heart. She's kind, quiet, and liked by both students and teachers. She's also one of the prettiest around and could easily become the most popular girl in school, if she cared about stuff like that. But Melody hates being the center of attention, so she hangs out with only a small, select group of friends, one of whom is Charlie Davenport, her best friend since kindergarten. Everyone agrees they could be such a cute couple since Charlie is obviously in love with her, but Melody is super-focused on her studies and doesn't really notice that stuff. Benjamin Davenport is everyone's favorite teacher and all the girls have a crush on him. He is gorgeous, well-dressed, really smart, and has the sexiest voice and British accent. Even some of the women teachers are in love with him, but he chooses to ignore them because he's happily married and has four children who also attend the school. Everyone thinks he has the most perfect family in town. What no one knows is that Melody has been in love with him for years, even though he's more than twice her age and the father of her closest friend in the world. She has never dreamed he would ever see her as a woman and accepts that she will be never be anything else to him but the best friend of his son. At least that's what she thinks. But Mr. Davenport has a secret, too. He has watched Melody grow up into a beautiful young woman over the years and what he is feeling for her now is decidedly not paternal...
