Konan is about to marry Joshua, but noticed an unexpected tragedy that postpones the marriage and reflects the revelation of her life. By investigating what happened to cause her parent's death, she encounters many tribulations and obstacles that puts her in dangerous encounters and paths along the way. By reaching out for help, Konan is able to travel to death inducing places like the Village of the Bloody Mist - gathering evidence about a person connected to so much manipulation, deception, and knowledge - that the organization of the Akatsuki and the people residing in many nations are at risk. But this person's identity is completely untraceable, as if being a ghost within. Konan has to abandon a part of who she is and her pursuit of love and marriage for Joshua, in order to fight her enemy and cast revenge on those who wish ill upon her parents.
In the end, it will be Joshua - in a moment of unimaginable self sacrifice - who will make it possible for Konan to face the most important battle of her life, and finally, put her past to rest.
