The story is set in a modern era in a world similar to our own, this story talks about Hideki Arada, a normal student at the Tokugawa Daigaku highschool. After his father's death, he began investigating to find out the truth about the latter's death. He could've never imagined that a simple wish would've lead him to discover the side of the world that he thought was normal. Thanks to help of a misterious sword left by his father, he will find himself having to deal with creatures made out of pure energy: the Errants. Many other humans besides him are able to see them, and they created a secret society in order to kill them: E.H.S (Errants Hunters Society). The ones who work there are known as Errhunters.

Il giovane pilastro della foschia, Muichiro Tokito, comincia a sognare cose a dir poco strane, ovvero, ogni notte, puntualmente rivede in sogno una sagoma identica a sé stesso. Muichiro, inquieto, decide di investigare a fondo su questo fatto alquanto insolito, con scarsi risultati. Ma ogni notte, lo stesso e identico sogno, si fa più vivido, e le parole cambiano, come se la "sagoma" avesse una propria volontà. La storia è ambientata in un epoca moderna con un mondo simile al nostro, questa storia parla di Hideki Arada un normale liceale della scuola tokugawa daigaku. Dopo la morte di suo padre, iniziò ad investigare sulla reale causa della strana morte di quest' ultimo. Lui non poteva immaginare che quel semplice desiderio, lo avrebbe portato a scoprire il lato nascosto del mondo che lui stesso credeva normale. Grazie anche all' aiuto della misteriosa spada lasciatagli da suo padre e allo spirito che risiede in essa, si troverà a dover affrontare creature fatte di pura energia e invisibili alla maggior parte delle persone di cui non avrebbe mai pensato l'esistenza: gli Erranti. Ma come lui molti altri esseri umani sono in grado di vederli, ed essi hanno creato una società segreta per ucciderli: S.C.E., coloro che ci lavorano si fanno chiamare Errhunters.Complete
