Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. Picking up at the angst and devastation of Caitlyn & Vi's heaviest separation, a few weeks after Caitlyn had left Vi at the bottom of the destroyed air vents, Vi finds herself reuniting with Caitlyn in less-than-ideal circumstances. Their shared attachment and feelings haven't faltered, but will they be able to repair what they had? Caitlyn is grasping the consequences of her actions and how they've affected not only her relationship with Vi, but her relationship with the city of Piltover. Ambessa's wrath is in the wake, Viktor & Jayce are nowhere to be found, Jinx is mostly MIA. It's a matter of time before it all comes crashing down. This will be an ongoing fanfic, the goal to merge into the final storyline of Arcane and then continue on post-Season 2. Romance, violence, smut, and grief is to all be expected.
