I weren't expectin' much when I walked into that loo, just a quick wee before headin' back to the other contestants. But then there he was - curly-haired, green-eyed, brushin' his teeth like he didn't have a care in the world. Harry. Didn't know then that meetin' him would change everythin'.
We both got kicked outta The X Factor Bootcamp on our own, but fate - or one of the judges - decided we weren't done yet. Next thing we know, we're in a band with three other lads, and just like that, everythin' goes from ordinary to absolutely mental. Screamin' crowds, cameras in our faces, managers tellin' us what to say, what to do, who to be.
And then there's him. From the very start, there's somethin' pullin' me to him, somethin' I can't quite put me finger on. We just get each other. It's easy with him. Too easy. But I've got a girlfriend back home - Hannah - and whatever this is, it ain't meant to be, right? Not when we're bein' watched every second of the day, not when our whole lives are mapped out before we even get a say.
But feelings don't just disappear 'cause they're inconvenient. And some things - some things are louder than words.

Hey guys! Welcome to my story ‚Louder Than Words' :)
I just wanted to ask you to bear with me - English isn't my first language, but I'm doing my best to do Louis and Harry's story justice.
This story is written from Louis' perspective, and I'm trying to stay true to his character and Doncaster dialect. Of course, I might not always get it spot on, but I'm always open to your thoughts and suggestions!
Other than that, I'm not one for long intros, so I'll just say - enjoy the read! I hope you like it.
This is my version of their story, with some parallels to reality. I'm not implying that any of this actually happened - this is purely a work of fiction.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
