For Theon, life was certainly straightforward: he must train to become what the prophecy has foretold about him; he must train to defend his family. Percy's life was pretty much like his ability - or lack thereof - for reading; everything (except for his mom) felt twisted, incoherent, and overall, tiring. Coming across the weirdest camp ever will challenge that, and maybe having silver eyes following him will make his life much better.
