Taiga Kagami has a secret, a secret that prevents him from getting close to others. He has a special DNA gene that few have in the world, the gene of a werecat. There's only one other person in Kagami's family that had the gene, but he's long gone, so he can't help him. After learning about is special gene and he reached high school Kagami's parents send him over seas to Japan while they stayed in America. Now, Kagami's is more alone then ever before, that is, until he meets someone who's just like him, Daiki Aomine.

Daiki Aomine comes form a well off family with a long history of having the werecat gene. He's promised to marry a family friend's daughter, who is also from a well known family of the werecat gene, but Aomine just wants to be free and be able to do what he wants. But there's a problem with that, he can't control himself when it comes to his anger or being over excited, he tends to transform, causing trouble for his family. One night after transforming and getting into trouble with his parents he runs away and runs into someone who's just like him, Taiga Kagami.

These two unlikely people who have so much in common work through the outs and ins of being who they are, a tiger and a panther. They must work through their their differences and their past demons to finally understand what it is that they have been missing in their lives -- Love.
