"Everyone is different. That is a fact of life. Everyone has differences and the only thing that every single person on this planet has in common is their diversity. So our differences either join us or divide us, and a house divided cannot stand."
Acacia O'Hearn has some ideas of her own about what people have in common and she's concluded that a lot of people have ignorance and general asshole-ness in common. So when the she moves to a small island town off the coast of God knows where, she's ready to accept even more bigoted idiocy.
Ezra Low also has some ideas about what people have in common and he's theorized that the thing that we all have in common is our ability to change, which he readily admits is rather cliche. He's just about ready to quit trying, when he sees Acacia, the new girl across the street.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

"Now my job is on the line, and Opal and Ivy is about to lose the contract. It wouldn't even take you a damn minute to sign it and get it over with. But no, you choose to play your little power games and refuse to sign. And now you've had the audacity to sue me? You think you can sue me, Gabriel? After everything you did to me, you think you can sue me? I should have done more than just hit you. I should have grabbed your balls, crushed them, made the server fry them, and fed them to your precious employees and then watched them eat it-" I stopped abruptly, my breathing heavy and ragged, my eyes locked onto his face. Gabriel had stopped typing, his fingers frozen above the keyboard. But what really held my attention were his eyes. One was a pale, almost ghostly grey with flecks of hazel, while the other was a deep, warm hazel. A flicker of amusement danced across his features, and he let out a low, almost mocking laugh. Dimples. "Crush my balls?" "No... I... uh meant that-" I straightened up, trying to regain my composure. "I didn't really mean your balls." ♤♤♤♤♤♤♤♤ Daphne Hawthorne was living her best life as a recent graduate until she met a mysterious Spanish man with hazel eyes and a flirty smile. It didn't take long before she found herself giving in to him completely, opening her legs and indulging in everything he wanted. Their relationship quickly grew, leading to marriage, but just four months in, her life fell apart, leaving her broken beyond repair. Three years later, Daphne crosses paths with another mysterious man who bears an uncanny resemblance to her ex-husband, who left her broken. This man, however, isn't who she thinks he is, and as their worlds collide, there's a chance he may soon become her new boss - a possibility that could have her opening her legs to him too all over again, just like she once did before. For the first time, the heroine might not even need a guy to seal her happy ending. When Melonie tells her boyfriend: ‘John, I think I’m asexual’, she turns single, friendless and terribly heartbroken within a day. She could probably be considered as an aquatic creature from all the tears she’s been swimming in. Her label as ‘John’s Girlfriend’ now stripped off, she becomes a ‘nobody’ and is on the verge of changing herself for her ex. Until she meets the school’s alpha, Jupiter Rogan, a superior, pretentious nerd with a ‘too-cool-for-romance’ attitude, and begs to become like her, wanting to be admired by everyone instead of being looked down upon. But once befriending the tight pack of elite nerds, although Jupiter proves to her you don’t need a boy to be happy and illustrates self-appreciation; how the empowerment of femininity, friendship and happiness can exist without young love—things don’t go as planned.  Can Melonie accept herself for who she is or will she get carried away in the transformation?
