In a city weighed down by shadows and scars, two souls teeter on the edge of destruction. Jinx, a chaotic force caught between guilt and grief, and Ekko, a time-twisting rebel driven by hope, are drawn back into each other's orbit. After a desperate rescue pulls Jinx back from the brink, Ekko is determined to show her that redemption isn't out of reach-even for those who believe they've lost everything.
This fanfiction dives deep into the complex, fractured bond between Ekko and Jinx, weaving together emotional moments, untold backstories, and a chance at healing.
What if there's more to their story than the chaos left in their wake?
-
This story takes place during Arcane Season 2, Episode 9, filling in the gap between Ekko saving Jinx and their arrival at the battle in the hideout-turned-hot air balloon. I've titled it Deleted Scenes to reflect the idea of exploring moments from Timebomb that were left untold in the final episode.

Blue Clouds/Pink Smoke |Jinx x OC|
SEASON 2 FINISHED Blue Clouds (Book 1/Season 1): finished "When we're older, you'll make the bombs and I'll make the spark." Minx. That's what they called her. Noun, derogatory, meaning an impudent, cunning, or boldly flirtatious girl or young woman. If that's what they chose to define her, that's fine, then she'd own it. Carve her name into the walls of Zaun so they'd never forget it, what they did to her, to her family. Minx has always been into potions, poisons, and remedies. She spends her days combining chemicals into clouds of blue and pink. The pink-haired girl always knew there was a spark inside her and she just happened to meet a girl who was a bomb. Together, they'll blow this popsicle stand. - Pink Smoke (Book 2/Season 2): finished "C'mon, hot stuff, really think I'd do this without 'cha?" By herself, Minx falls deep into her demons, dropping her to her knees. They have to lay low, she knows that, but why should that mean they can't be together? Jinx travels the streets of Zaun, her disguise convincing. No one even looks her way. She convinces herself she is ready to abandon everything. They realize they can't do it on their own because the Xs are a staple of Zaun, representation of their strongest and most revolutionary. So when their people see their faces as the symbol of a revolution they paint the town blue and pink. Will this war bring them together, or tear them to pieces alone? #1 in playlist /1,000+ #1 in arcanejinx/70 #1 in arcanefanfic/38 #8 in arcaneleagueoflegends/140 #3 in jinxxoc/24 Started 11/17/24 Finished 1/5/25 36,976 wordsComplete

Ma Meilleure Ennemie (Arcane)
They were never meant to be. She is a deeply broken woman - paranoid, anything but stable and sometimes borderline insane - , he is quite the opposite - stable, calm and rational -, yet Ekko and Jinx cannot escape their magnetic pull. Based on the show Arcane, the characters belong to Riot Games. Contains major spoilers for Season 2 of Arcane!
Wounds of Power (Jinx x OC)
Words: 101,094 | F/F | Post-Arcane Season 2 Act 1 AU | Selene was never meant to survive the council bombing, but she did, and nothing has felt right ever since. In the ruins of what was, she follows her brother Viktor deep into Zaun, where he builds a commune meant to offer safety and a chance to start over. For a while, it almost works, but everything changes when Vi, Isha, and Jinx arrive asking for help to save what remains of Vander. Nothing is simple when grief, guilt, and family are tangled together, especially when the person she is supposed to hate might be the only one who truly sees her. This story is also posted on AO3.
πππππππ | Jinx & Ekko
What if their fight on the bridge ended differently, and Ekko was the one who lost? Jinx is faced with a choice; Leave her childhood friend to bleed out and die, or save his life. - Greetings, dear reader. Are you looking for a different ending to Jinx and Ekko's story? Are you intrigued about what could've been, if only things went a different way for them? You have come to the right place! That's what this story is all about. But I take issue with most Jinx x Ekko fanfics/timebombs either rushing their complicated relationship from 0 (Enemies) to 10 (Best Friends/Lovers), often ignoring crucial aspects of both characters that define their trauma and willingness/unwillingness to reconcile with each other. Jinx is an incredibly complex character. Expect this story to explore that complexity to its fullest. I've been inspired to attempt the impossible; Showcase the most realistic possible path for these two to find their way back to each other. Arcane is a show of tragedy brought forth by circumstance. Unlike most fanfics, this one will focus on a realistic take of what their relationship could have looked like, if at one crucial moment, things went a different way. In order to do proper service to the complex characters of Arcane, THE STORY WILL CONTAIN SOME OF THE FOLLOWING MATURE THEMES: - Descriptive Violence - Selfharm, Att./Suicide - Depictions/Examination of Emotional Trauma - Depictions of Psychotic Behavior - Minor Swearing - Additional but similar concepts. Feedback is welcome! Credits to Alexin on Pinterest for the cover art.Complete

CHRONOBREAK
It's funny, really, how silence hums when everything's dead. How the city still flickers like a bad dream you keep trying to wake from, but it won't let you. I used to think color could fix it. Make the ache pretty. It's all my fault. They look at me like they already know how it ends. And maybe they do. Maybe I do too. If I just stop thinking, if I just, one second, no more laughing, no more ghosts, no more her, no more- ...footsteps. No, that's not, that's not fair. No one comes here. No one ever- But the sound's real. Soft. Careful. To not scare the dark. I turn. It's him. Older maybe. Or maybe I just forgot how his eyes looked when they weren't angry. My breath catches, like the world forgot to spin. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say. All I can think is, why did you come for me? Or When Jinx hits rock bottom, Ekko pulls her back from the edge. In a world on the brink, can two broken souls find a way forward? 1# Timebomb
