The figure in the chair whimpered, the sound muted and stifled by the tape over their mouth. They tugged helplessly at the ropes binding their limbs, their body trembling with desperation as the warm trail of tears ran down their face, each drop a testament to their fear.

A low chuckle echoed through the room, the sound hanging in the air like a predator's growl. The perpetrator didn't need to speak; there was no question, no need for further words. They crouched down, their knees brushing the cold floor as they positioned themselves in front of their victim, eyes gleaming with a twisted amusement.

The muffled pleas grew louder, more frantic, but they were nothing more than a distant, insignificant noise.
