Harry Coumnas

Operating scientific experiments on board the shuttle, either in the cabin or in Spacelab, a bus-sized laboratory housed in the cargo bay, is mostly Harry Coumnas' duty. He received the thorough training required to carry out the mission's goals, which included building space stations, researching microgravity, repairing satellites, operating robot arms or EVAs, conducting remote sensing of the Earth or the cosmos, and conducting various scientific experiments.
