Adult Supervision | gxg | - An Emily Prentiss x Reader story

This is 1/2 part of what I'm working on. Please understand a majority of this story I wrote high, (I am totally conscious, just more creative) It's a haters to lovers type vibe, so there will be more of a slow burn angsty tension rather than straight up smut :)

Y/N is a total mess. After surviving a toxic, abusive relationship with the son of a mob boss who made her do some horrible things, she's been stuck in a downward spiral of anger, guilt, and self-destruction. Losing her dad days after her escape only made her more reckless and chaotic. She's smart and resourceful, sure, but she's also selfish and a coward, always trying to protect herself. (Spoiler alert: she's not great at lying, but she keeps trying anyway.)

Things hit rock bottom when an undercover agent is found dead in a remote cabin, and all signs point to Y/N. Shes caught by Hotchner and Prentiss, and now she has no choice but to cooperate with the BAU. Working with the team comes with a catch: Prentiss, who clearly has zero patience with Y/N, is stuck supervising her 24/7. That means LIVING with Y/N with basically no freedom at all.

Y/N doesn't make it easy. She makes everyone want to tear their hair out, especially Prentiss. Prentiss doesn't trust her, and Y/N isn't exactly going out of her way to prove otherwise.

Y/N's past refuses to stay buried, and Prentiss is determined to figure her out, no matter how many lies she tells. The real question is whether Y/N can face the truth about herself-or if her recklessness will take everyone else down with her.
