This is the story of Mary, a typical 18-year-old, provincial girl who was brought along by her grandmother to give her a job in her well-known restaurant in San Fernando---the city dominated by rich families, and a city known as the 'paradise of riches'.

There, Mary will meet two friends, Keza and Tatum, who came from rich families. Them having privileges on things Mary knew she would never have, she will admire them and under their influence, she will start to see how lavish the modern life is unlike her provincial life.

Until, she finds herself falling in love with Tatum, an educated, kind, grown man who showed her clear intentions since they met; a phenomenal feeling that after a long time made Mary thought Tatum has feelings for her, too.

Driven out of great admiration for him, she eagerly confessed her feelings to him. Where the last mourning dove can be heard calling from nowhere, she received a response---a response from him that made her disappear from that day.
