The Last Call of a Mourning Dove

Mayumi Ambrose, a typical 18-year-old provincial girl, who her grandmother brought along to give her a part-time job, will step into a city known as 'Paradise of Riches' - the city of San Fernando.

Setting her foot on the vast city with hopes of a good turn for her life, misfortune welcomed her, an accident leading her to cross paths with a man whom she thought she would never see again.

Sinclair Tatum Sy, the young man with an eyesight disability that Mayumi once protected from all his bullies when they were in high school, was now a perfectly healed grown man. But the time they met, he passed her by as if he do not recognized her, making her befuddled.

There, conflicts between them formed, and battles of pride became their expertise, turning them into a perfect-enemy duo. A chaotic, pretty little clashes that eventually, spark their chemistry.

But the reason why Sinclair didn't remember Mayumi, was what hindered their fate.

"We were high school students back then, if you still remember," Lainwell, Mayumi's cousin, said, "I was the girl who stood up for you to protect you against the bullies, Sinclair."
