Part of what makes Isekai so enjoyable is the escapism. A world filled with fantastical beasts, interesting characters who have the hots for you, immersive lore, and vast unexplored nations guaranteed to leave the viewers wanting more. That's just how the genre markets itself nowadays.

However, the ideal isekai adventure only works if there's one MC. One guy who gets sucked into the fantasy world, one guy who gets all the OP powers, and one guy who gets to have all the romanceable characters. The story can't give two people the same treatment, lest the viewer can't fully self-project.

In other words, you, someone who is definitely NOT the target audience for an Isekai, gets Isekai'd as a second protagonist and have to survive literal fucking hell.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
