- What if the story of Harry Potter went differently than told?

Lilac Potter didn't know who she was. All she knew was that she was different from others. Girls and other people. Lilac had liked flowers, sure, but that's where the girly things ended.

Lilac had always felt out of place, like a puzzle piece forced into the wrong box. While other kids her age giggled over dress robes and fanciful stories of princesses, she spent her time climbing trees, collecting crystallized rocks, and sketching creatures she imagined might live in the shadows of the forest. There was a quiet strength within her, a spark that made her believe she was just simply different.

All she knew was that the world around her seemed far too ordinary for the restless energy buzzing inside her.

Little did Lilac know that she was a powerful witch in the making.

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
