Souls of Hallucinations

WARNING: later in the parts (not the first or second) I would advise to you that you may click off if you do not like these parts: self harm mention, blood, gore, horror and lgbtq. Read at your own risk.

This story is about a young child, who lives alone as an orphan in the forest with no identification, not even of gender. They go by they/them.

they often play a certain game, I'll explain the rules so it's easier for you to understand.

Grandpa's Game
this game was made by their only family member of who they still remember.

RULES
there is a couple of hounds, and a fox. The hounds have to catch the fox, and the fox has to spread ashes as a trail. The fox has to make it obvious, and the hound has to scream as they chase, no survivors of this game have been found, and that 'could be' how their parents died. You won't know until later in the series.

For now, you can call the child 'sage', but that will NEVER be their real name, and they usually play the game with their hallucinations.

They do not play the game until certain parts of the story.

Gender: boy, always believes they are a girl, as they have no memories of any education.
