Hot shot is five years old. He lives with his father Heatwave and his mother Quickshadow. Heatwave is a firefighter and Quickshadow is a pediatric oncology nurse. They all live in Fort Worth Texas. They all live a very happy life there. Hot shot is a very playful, loving, caring, highly active and outgoing child. Hot shot loves to play sports and he loves many other things too. He takes his stuffed rhino everywhere. He is the sunshine of his parents lives. Hot shot is perfectly healthy child too. However soon things change when Hot shot starts to feel unwell. Hot shot has pain in his left ankle. He was limping too and found it hard to do much. Hot shot was tired all the time. Hot shot also had a fever that won't go too. His parents take him to see his pediatrician. His pediatrician sends him to see a special doctor. Hot shot gets tests done and finds out he has Ewing Sarcoma a type of bone cancer. Hot shot is ready to be brave. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids his age with the same type of cancer as him. They become the best of friends and ready to fight their cancer together.
