Raenessa Taenaenor, a twenty-three year old Dragonrider woman from across the wall of which separates the Bonded from the Unbonded, is forced to operate and work amongst Unbonded soldiers. Transfered to a SAS unit, Task Force 141.
She's quick witted, smart, agile, and fast on her feet. While she may not be the strongest, it's where her gifted abilities come into play. Dragonriders, otherwise known as Bonded, are commonly gifted magical benefits by their dragon-benefits called Occults. What Raenessa lacks in physical strength, she makes up for in raw magic and sheer power.
Other than finding difficulty in making herself feel safe amongst the Unbonded she now fights alongside instead of against, fate finds its way of pushing her to the team's Lieutenant. A cold-hearted and reserved man, who tries, forces his best to avoid her as if she's a plague.
Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley, senses something off about the young woman. Why would a high and mighty dragon rider stope so low to help the Unbonded?
