Everyone has forgotten them already. Way before Steven Universe, over at least 6,000 years ago, there existed more than four diamonds. White Diamond was still considered the highest, of course, since she had brought all of the diamonds besides Yellow, Blue, and Pink into existence, and Pink, was still the littlest. Black Diamond is a middle-class diamond; she still didn't have a proper court, army, colony, or even her own pearl, even though the rest of her class had all of the above, except for a colony and an army, only a few selected diamonds got to have that honor. Black sees some things she shouldn't, and her fellow diamonds beg her not to snitch, even if the consequences could be grave if White finds out. Black cannot decide whether to betray the diamonds below and above her to get where she needs to be or join in the mayhem, proving her loyalty to her diamonds knowing that even they could tell White.

No one believed a human could stand against the Gem Empire-until one was given the power to change everything. Fenrir was one of the strangest members of the Crystal Gems. She was able to stand toe-to-toe against some of the toughest soldiers that Homeworld had to offer, but, despite her monstrous appearance-purple fur, blazing red wings, and horns that curved above her head-she was still human. Rose Quartz and Garnet rescued her from a Gem research facility, but even Garnet's future vision couldn't prepare them for the horrors Fenrir had endured. Her strength made her a formidable ally in the Gem War, and she quickly became an invaluable member of the Crystal Gems. She was their secret weapon, revered for her power. Unfortunately, none of them realized that they'd have to finish the fight without her. Near the end of the war, she was sent on a mission and disappeared, leaving her comrades to carry on without her. That is until several thousand years later when she appeared on a certain beach near a small town. As she reconnects with Garnet and the other Crystal Gems, she must confront the consequences of her absence, her volatile power, and the deep bond she shares with those she once fought beside. The battle isn't over-Fenrir still carries the weight of her past, and the future is far from certain. ~~~~~~------~~~~~~ Steven Universe OC insert with some focus on Garnet because Square Mom is Best Mom. When the singular great Diamond decides she wants to raise a protégé, a mix-up causes the orders to incubate a new Diamond to be accidentally doubled. And while Yellow Diamond emerges on Homeworld and is met with celebrations, the young Blue Diamond finds herself on a stray colony, with no knowledge of who she is supposed to be. At first taken to be an off-color, she attempts to find a place in gem society, guided by the fact that she always seems to share an emotional connection with those around her.
