In an alternate, advanced Nigeria teeming with innovation and inequality, nineteen-year-old Eric Wobidike is drowning under the weight of expectations. Heir to a sprawling banking empire and born into a family of political titans, Eric struggles to find his place in a world that sees him as nothing more than a symbol. But when a mysterious cube bonds him to the Warrior Suit-a hyper-advanced exosuit powered by nanotechnology-his life takes a dangerous turn.
Suddenly gifted with godlike abilities, Eric finds himself thrust into a battle he never asked for. As Eric grapples with his newfound power, he becomes the reluctant protector of Port Liberty, his actions drawing the ire of the enigmatic militant organization known as Vengeance.
Amid the chaos, Eric is surrounded by a diverse group of allies: his ex-stepsister Aurora, who becomes his anchor in the storm of his growing power; his brilliant best friend Dozie, who engineers solutions to problems no one else can fathom; and his childhood confidant Kayla, who reminds him what he's fighting for. Together, they must navigate a labyrinth of betrayal, conspiracies, and moral dilemmas as the line between hero and weapon blurs.
But Eric's greatest battle isn't against the enemies at his doorstep-it's against the darkness within himself. As he uncovers the Warrior Suit's true purpose and the cost of its power, he must decide: Will he become the savior his city needs, or will the suit consume him and turn him into the very thing he fears?
In this electrifying blend of African futurism and superhero drama, Warrior: The Awakening delivers heart-pounding action, complex characters, and a thought-provoking exploration of power, responsibility, and identity.
