In the early autumn of 2022, FIM High School welcomes a cheerful transfer student named Nakamura Kazuha. On the first day of school, Kazuha encounters the aloof and cool Sakura and falls in love with her at first sight.

Behind Sakura's seemingly outstanding academic performance and privileged family background, she is a "contradictory" person who appears to be quite confident on the outside yet constantly doubts himself on the inside. Due to the presence of her genius younger brother, Taehyun, Sakura is constantly compared to him by her mother. For over a decade, Sakura's life has been like living inside a thick shell. She is introverted and doesn't speak much. She looks composed and polite but keeps everyone at a distance.

However, Sakura's life changes when she meets the bubbly and forward Kazuha, and joins hands with old and new friends Yunjin, Eunchae, and Kazuha's best friend Chaewon. They help her understand the meaning of being herself and she slowly begins to understand what she wants from her life. Sakura and Kazuha work towards their goals while supporting one another, as romance begins to blossom throughout their friend group.
