Misunderstood

In the shadow of my soul where the pain never ends,
tears dry in the darkness, and hope fades away.
A life marked by scars, deep and heavy,
the scars bear stories that no one understands.

Abuse, a silent scream in the wind,
the pain in silence, the world stops spinning for a moment.
Depression haunts me at night,
and the thought of leaving the world haunts the soul.

But out of the darkness, out of the deepest pain,
arises the strength that keeps me here.
With every step, so small, so delicate,
i find myself again, despite the scars, despite the way I am.

A book of tears, of silence and struggle.
A journey out of the darkness that always stay with me.
In the lines lies my life, unadorned, raw, real and full of emotion.
