The Eighth Marriage of Evelyn Hugo

More commonly known as Celia St James, the little red headed teen who stole Evelyn's heart was a household name, but it wasn't always this way.

Born in 1939 in a small town in Georgia, Celia grew up in a wealthy household with her siblings, her rich upbringing leaving her resenting almost everyone in her family, the only exception being her older brother, Robert. One of Celia's sisters, Rebecca, told her that acting was an embarrassment to the family. Not even because of the Hollywood aspect, but instead because it meant that Celia was "working"- and Rebecca claimed this was undignified. Despite her family's disapproval, Celia was committed to her dream of becoming an actress. And it paid off. At only 19 years old, Celia St James was known as one of, if not, the MOST talented actress in all of Hollywood. Even Evelyn Hugo felt intimidated by the fiery spirit, who little did Evelyn know, would later be known as her wife.

A Love story spanning 58 years, (but only 24 of those being spent together), Evelyn and Celia had to spend their life hiding in the shadows, keeping their relationship hidden from the public eye, who were hoping to catch a glimpse of their individual lives. Through many tribulations, the one thing that was certain was Evelyn and Celia would ALWAYS find their way back to eachother. No matter how long it would take.
