Throne of Thorns: A Series of Short Stories

So these are two short stories with the same characters, settings, and themes I wrote during my Creative Writing class this past Fall 2024 semester. I would like to make this into a long novel of some sort, however, I don't know when or if I'll get around to it, so for now at least, these are the two short stories I wrote that would be turned into chapters if I wrote a full novel.
