All Might's mind had never once entertained the idea of starting a family-marriage, children, a home to return to after a grueling day. That simply came with the job. A family wasn't an option when every moment carried the risk of them being threatened, kidnapped, or *killed* by a villain. No, she couldn't expose loved ones to that danger-not with All For One still lurking in the shadows like the insidious parasite she was. She couldn't risk her family meeting the same fate as her mentor, purged from her life by the same cruel hand-*he was so similar to her dad*

"The villain asked him to choose. His wife or his child." Shoto looked at his fiancée, the only child of the legendary All Might. The man who's pinky his father could never even live up to, and yet, she was telling him differently. That her father too, might be the similar as his although not in the same way. "I don't blame my father for choosing, I just wish he could have been there to choose. I heard him choose over the goddamned phone. He should've been there to look my mother in the eye and make his choice. But he wasn't there." She would only joke about it once in a while, "I guess we found common ground. Daddy issues."
