There was old folklore, it was very popular. It was about the King of Vampires.. Named Fallacy who lurked the woods at night. The most feared vampire. Then there was a French skeleton named Encre, who was a royal painter for the king. One day the King wants a special painting. He wants a painting of the blood moon. Encre waited for the blood moon and decided to go out to the woods and paint it, not believing the fables and lies that poeple warned. But maybe he should have listened

"Fallacy... I no longer want to endure this agony, I want to live in a timeline where I can breathe, without worry of being in pain and suffering from these flashbacks. Yet... Fallacy and Encre hold each other in their dying arms as they are steadily turning to dust. Encre sheds his last few tears as he kisses Fallacy ever so gently scared he will dust faster if he kisses him any harder. Fallacy kisses Encre back lightly so he does not crumble away faster than the calm crumble they are both enduring. Fallacy lifts a trembling hand and strokes Encre's cheek gently, resting his hand there as they both turn to dust. Both smiling as they depart from this timeline leaving nothing but their dust and memories behind.Complete

Everything was perfectly fine. Encre met with Fallacy every night at their favorite place in the forest, and they talked about their lives... That was until one night, after Encre had gotten home and Fallacy had returned to his castle, he had been attacked by hunters. He knew it was no longer safe to stay there, for him and his family. But taking Jasper with him, risked him a lot more than most of the Vampire children, so he left Jasper in front of Encre's door. All is at peace in Vampireverse. There, two kingdoms and species are divided:Vampires or other beasts and monsterkind. Both stay apart and don't bother the other. They have their land seperated from the forest that the vampires roam. Of course the Blood Moon causes some conflicts, but things are officially at peace. Unofficially, trouble still brews. Schemes are bing formed and most see the vampires as bad creatures that shouldn't ever be seen or even known. To the point where seeking knowledge or having any sort of interest in these so-called beasts is considered a crime worth over a decade of time in jail or death in some cases. So when a curious young vampire boy named Jasper sneaks into a village and encounters the painter Encre, what will unfold? Will this unravel chaos and make the piling conflict burst? Or will it be found that there is more to be known about the other and that they truly can have peace? This story is not related to my other Undertale AU books or Vampireverse book.
