I heard a noise coming from my right. I could see nothing. All the trees were blocking my view. The sound of leaves crunching caught my attention from the left. My mind was swirling with thoughts of getting kidnapped and much much worse.
So I did the first thing that came to my mind. I ran. I could hear heavy footfalls behind me indicating that I was being followed. I turned a few street corners and felt a shiver run up my spine. And it wasn't the kind you get from laughing either. It was the kind you get when someone is standing right behind you and your just to afraid to look behind you to see what it was.
Slowly I did the unthinkably worst thing that I could have done in that situation. I turned around.

Soon I had his friend laughing with me as the man in front of me glared at both of us. "Don't give me that look. She's the one who started laughing." His friend said, wheezing a little bit and trying to stop laughing. I calmed down a bit, standing up to face them, a smile on my face. "Now, if you're done threatening me," I raise an eyebrow. "Or at least trying to. I'll be on my way." With that, I grabbed my backpack, turned my back to them, and walked away.Complete

I was running, it was dark and there were tress everywhere. My long dark wet hair flying everywhere, it stuck to my face covering my eyes. I remember seeing a movie like this once. There was this girl and she was in a city and she was running from someone and she looked back to see if he was still chasing her and she tripped and fell. The guy got her and she thought he was going to kill her. I had always made fun of those girls cause if you were being chased you wouldn't look back you'd keep running. The ground was wet I could feel my feet sliding. I turn my head just enough to see if the creature was still behind me, I tripped over something hard and I fell to the ground face first. "This is a nightmare, it's only a nightmare..." I say to myself as I try to catch my breath while leaning against a tall pine tree.
