Le héros, nommé Ayan (signifiant « éternel » en sanskrit et « guide » en grec ancien), est né de l'union interdite entre Indra, le roi des dieux indiens, et Nyx, la déesse primordiale de la nuit dans la mythologie grecque. Condamné dès sa naissance à vivre entre deux mondes qui le rejettent, Ayan doit embrasser ses origines pour rétablir l'équilibre entre les deux panthéons, menacés par des forces qui cherchent à renverser leur ordre.

Durant son voyage, Ayan rencontrera des alliés, affrontera des ennemis légendaires, et tissera des relations complexes avec ses concubines, chacune issue d'une lignée divine, destinées à fonder une dynastie unifiant les deux mythologies.
