After the destruction of the wild rune, Jayce and Viktor wake up in the council chamber, astonished to find themselves alive. The real surprise, however, is Viktor-fully healed and with no sign of his former struggles. But their brief joy quickly crumbles when they meet with Piltover's leaders-and Viktor is arrested. For Jayce, it feels as though his world has fallen apart. Just when he thought he'd regained his closest friend, he's at risk of losing him again. Determined to prevent this, Jayce vows to do everything in his power to help Viktor win his trial. But as the trial unfolds, their bond will be tested again. In the midst of the chaos, deeper feelings begin to surface, leaving them questioning if their connection has grown into something far greater than friendship.

She/her reader. You are a young journalist from Zaun, working for The Piltover Globe. You witnessed the explosion of Jayce's lab from your friend's apartment. Your redaction board asks you to investigate on the matter, while the Academy tries to hide as much info as possible. But in a way or another, you meet Viktor, and a few things you did not even expect start to unravel. TW anxiety (mild but still)/death/mourning The "Fringes" idea is not mine, it comes from @Berserkitty and their wonderful fanfic "Undercity Development Section" (I'm sure you read it, if you haven't please do, it's fantastic). I imagine Y/N to be around 24/25, same age as Viktor in season 1 but that's purely personal projection, feel free to change that in your head ! Usual thing: English is not my first language and I tried to make the story as accessible as possible. Their childhood was a blur of shared adventures-from building elaborate blanket forts that stretched across living rooms to spending countless hours tinkering with gadgets in the garage, always dreaming up their next big project. They were a team, a dynamic pair whose laughter echoed through the neighborhood streets as they navigated every scraped knee, secret club, and grand plan together.Jayce and Viktor have been friends for as long as they can remember. (I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. The whole cult-exploding put a rift in their relationship, but they are mending and expanding it slowly.Complete
