Vivian Solace had been shaped and molded to be a meek and silent girl. In her pack, every word spoken out of turn was met with swift discipline, enforced by the dominant hand of her father. Growing up in the shadows of her seven older brothers and four older sisters, she was the youngest and most small-statured member of her pack, earning her the nickname 'the runt'. Her world had been confined to the boundaries of their territory. Never allowed to venture outside, she felt forgotten by the Moon Goddess, resigned to the belief that she may resin an eternal solitary soul.
At the tender age of eighteen, Percy Gray had risen to lead his pack, becoming the youngest Alpha in history. He knew little of the neighboring Solstice pack, though he was aware of their sinister reputation and the fact they were responsible for the death of his parents. When he led a raiding party into their territory, he was unprepared for the discovery that would change everything. Hidden amongst their midst was a meek, petite girl. A runt. Little did he know, she was his destined mate, the one his soul was bound to- born from the very blood of his enemies.
Together, they delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding the youngest Solace, they uncover more than just hidden truths. Some secrets are best left buried, they say. Despite the unbreakable bond that formed between them, the past loomed over them, its presence a constant reminder. Blood, once spilled, couldn't be undone or erased. And as the secrets come to light, their bond, strong as it was, faced challenges that threatened to tear it apart. Trust, loyalty, and love were tested to their very limits, as they navigated the treacherous waters of their intertwined pasts.
In the future, everyone who's bitten by a zombie turns into one... until Diane doesn't. Seven days later, she's facing consequences she never imagined.

Excerpt:
I looked up and stared. My reflection looked back at me in the mirror of the dark room. My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow.
Glowing eyes were not normal.
Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
What was I then? For that, I had no answer
