A story based on the song Mg1 by Machine Girl; following the story of Gerard Way and how his character is heavily influenced not by those around him, but by the ideas he stumbles across. (I in no way claim rights to the song, I am just using it as general structure for the story. I thought it'd be interesting since I couldn't find any fics using this particular song as a structure.)

After he unconsciously injects his venom into his lover Helena, the two go on the run, only to be hunted down. Gerard dies, but Helena survives. A deal is made with the Devil, in which he can meet Helena again by killing 1,000 evil men... ~~~This story is based on the four albums by MCR. (Not including Conventional Weapons, as I don't see much of a storyline behind it. Sorry.) ~~~I've made several changes/additions to the original plots/characters/settings of the albums. ~~~I am fully aware that Helena is the nickname Gerard gave for his and Mikey's late grandmother Elena in Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. {COMPLETED} Gerard Way doesnt have many friends. he has never been in a serioius relationship. hes not even sure about his sexuality, as he hasnt really had chances to find out. so when he gets invited to a party he figures its an oppertunity to stop being the social outcast and get some friends. Lots of random ships along with frerard cause why not. AN: hello. this is my first fic so it may not be good. and i may update rarely cause i just dont usually have time. my friend came up with the idea and another friend cane up with the name so.... ye. honestly imma just be coming up with the story as i go. anyways, expect just a lot of cameos of other singers/band members cause im too lazy to come up with names. Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)Complete
