What happens when time traveling goes wrong? You get stuck in an alternate world. Fjulia has been living in Eden, a futuristic utopia, for 3 years now after her scientist bestie accidentally got her stuck during a trial with her new 'time traveling' device. Seemingly no way home, Fjuli had no choice but to settle in; and she did a good job of it. Due to her mysterious development of powers she was drafted as a Denzi, humans with supernatural abilities, to fight against the nameless. Fjuli has been guarding her secret through all sorts of events over the past 3 years. Now, though she has to contend with a new threat to her 'peace.' That would be the very friend that sent her here coming to save her.

When Pioneer Ardent, humanity's last chance for survival, vanishes during its historic mission, Earth is left reeling. One of the ship's crew awakens on a strange, alien world, overwhelmed by towering grasses and twin suns. As he explores, he discovers fragments of the ship and memories of his lost friends. Haunted by these remnants and driven by the need to find his crew, he sets out to uncover the truth of what happened to Pioneer Ardent. As tensions rise on Earth, his quest may hold the key to humanity's survival. Will he find a way back, or will he be lost forever in this alien wilderness?

This preview chapter starts in July 2019, at the same time as the Changeover. The story takes place in an uchrony (a narrative of fictional events from a historical starting point), from 2014 to 2037, where the reader discovers a different reality, without the financial crisis of 2018 or Covid 19 or even conflicts in Central Europe, the Middle East, etc. The novel focuses on Myke and IAn's journey, through initiatory experiences and the emblematic characters they meet. Find out now how they came into the world and were conceived. The background to the chapter is a look back at the genesis of Myke, the novel's hero.
