Insanity, a word that Astraea was far too familiar with. She knew that it plagued her mind like an unforgivable curse, she knew that it overwhelmed her thoughts like a tumor in her mind, she knew that in each breath she took insanity would steal the exhale, she knew that she was beyond saving.

She didn't want to be trapped in the place each traitor of Hera would burn she didn't want to be the lessons other demigods had to learn. She wanted to break, she wanted to fall, she wanted to crash and burn before it all.

She was not the hero, she was not the one who'd save the world because she wanted to. She saved the world because she had to.

She was not the villain, her name wasn't being dragged in the mud it was being passed around like a story that was made up.

But that wasn't the end, no Astraea Snow wasn't done yet. She'd bleed, be bruised, be stabbed, be blown up if that meant she'd live to see them fall.
