Shadow(Sam Riordan)

Leighton always looked forward to her powers. She hoped one dsy she could he like Homelander or Queen Maeve. Be careful what you wish for. She got her powers but they were corrupted. Dark. Insidious.

She hated them. Her parents were terrified of them but not her big brother. He was a supe too and worked in the military. She felt human around him...but her power was strong, uncontrollable, and in the end... her brother died.

She wanted to remember him by achieving her dresm of being a hero. And too her and her parents surprise she git accepted. A new sense of freedom unveiled within her. Except it didn't last long. Soon she find out they only accepted her out of pity with no real intention of making her a hero.

She felt unwanted and almost left until Luke Riordan dies and suddenly she's making her way up the board. Though she doesn't want it, not for being a false hero do she took off.

But before shes gone Andre confides in her about the shady shit that's been happening. Rescuing Luke Riordan's brother from an evil lab was not on her God U bingo card. Especially not finding a connection with him and falling in love with him.

But is this love story doomed to fail or will they rise above all the others and fight for each other.
