Cinder was an outcast ever since when she was only twelve years old. Brought to her stepmother and stepsister's home when she was four by Garan, she had tried for nearly a decade to fit in. But it's no use. But as Cinder grows tired of bending backward to please everyone, something changes. A strange orange light flickers in her vision whenever she hears certain things, hinting at something more happening around her. Slowly, Cinder realizes she doesn't have to stay silent or hide who she is.
