In a world where inhuman and human creatures lives side by side, sometimes it was difficult to navigate where things were. So there was rules EVERY human followed. Don't engage. If you left them alone then they almost always left you alone... Unfortunately it's difficult when a whole pod happens to be under the impression that you belong to them.

Atsushi just wanted to have a good day off. Being stuck in an elevator with Nakahara Chuuya, meeting Dazai there, and seeing him literally dragging away Chuuya like that was definitely not what he was expecting. How it ended up like this? He has no idea. He do, however, knows what made him regret everything - listening to Ranpo's advice and following his Senpais secretly (in hopes of preventing the bloodshed, but little did he know about the plot twist)

There's no way that I'll let them get their hands on us. I refuse. It's either we die trying rather than to be lab rats for the rest of our lives.

Dazai, a suicidal maniac always getting himself in trouble and almost getting killed. Chuuya, a guardian angel who has to protect Dazai from the demon who was assigned to kill him, Fyodor. One rule for Chuuya, he can't fall in love, no matter if it's a demon, angel, or human.

"I am the Archer, I am the Dragon, I am the Witch, We are the Clowns, and I am the Soldier." We will die fighting, We don't fight for the good we fight for us. And we are Evil so don't stand in our way. Try and stop us and you will feel the wrath of all of us. All of the Blood Squad.

Dazai after trying to drown himself in a river gets sick, but luckily a certain chibi is there to help him get better. This encounter leads to their relationship deepening, but will they be able to survive new missions? And will Dazai be able to hide his past from the ADA? Update as of 8/23/2025: Sorry people who clicked for a nice light fluff fic, I really did mean to write one, but well lets say it did not work out that way. This fic does include moderate to severe angst, so if you do not want to read that I suggest looking for a different more wholesome fic ;-;.
