in a world where people were split into factions each with their own realm, two strong factions towered over the power of the rest. the light and dark factions. fighting till extinction, everyone thinks, the rest of the factions are left to start over with the way things work. the ember faction becomes the new most powerful faction and leads itself and the rest. each graduating child goes into the chamber of selection at the age of 15 to be selected into a faction by the room. the child stays in that faction for life with no option of return or faction change.
