First Born

In the past, the two kingdoms, Solia and Esca were at war for generations. The grudge of the first king was sent on; it corrupted the generation bringing about what seemed to be an eternal war. Then King Eshpherheim VII decided to put an end to the hatred by seeking to bond the two kingdoms in marriage. He stated that once the first-born child of both families had attained the age of majority they will get married in the cause of a treaty. When both queens were pregnant, he sent out the degree to which the royal family of Esca gracefully accepted knowing the raging wars were destroying the well-being of their own people. Soon, the queen of Esca gave birth to a son, having emerald green eyes and fair skin, while the second queen, from Solia gave birth to a son as well, and he looked exactly like his mother, seemingly breaching the degree. This troubled the Solian family, desperate to attain their treaty and so the child was secretly rid of and handed to a maid to be taken care of. The King went in onto his concubines in a desperate attempt to keep his word. While the Escan prince grew young and smartly, a concubine in the Solian court bore the daughter that was to take the prince's place.
