Jess Harper seems to have it all. Popularity, friends, good looks. But when her mother decides to take Jess down to see an old friend and stay on her small cotton farm for some fresh air and new scenery. Jess's perfect summer seems to be ripped away from her. What with no phone reception, bugs of the blood sucking variety and not to mention the devilishly cute but agravating farmer's son Blake. Her summer seems to be a stones throw from disaster. But away from her social life and out in the open air Jess will face problems normally drowned out by city traffic and bright lights. And who knows?
