23-year-old Annabeth had it all planned out. Her whole life had lived in planners and calendars. However, when a crisis strikes her family, Annabeth moves home scrambling all the plans she'd ever made. She's suddenly back in Missouri, transferred from Berkeley to WashU for the last year of her bachelor's.
Percy is 26 living in a small duplex with his 4-year-old daughter in the middle of the Missouri suburbs. Being a single dad was never the plan but he's found a routine to settle into. Starting to make plans for his daughter instead. A way for things to be stable but a girlfriend was never one of those things that made it into a plan.
But when a tour turns to drinks and Annabeth passes out drunk on Percy's couch for his 4-year-old to find in the morning, the two are pushed into a situation neither of them planned for. Love.
