Jisung was an Ordinary. Plain and simple. He was worthless to the country, worthless to the king. He didn't have any blood-bound magic. He would rather die.
And when he is picked to be a slave, he escapes with the knowledge that he will die soon.
Until he is picked for a chance to win the prince's heart in a battle of death, etiquette, and smarts.

He has this sickness, no one knows what it is and he tries to hide it from his members. He passed out in the middle of a concert and was rushed to a hospital. They saw abnormalities, but they didn't know what they were. They only knew it could kill him within a few months. They gave him a therapist and some meds, and weekly appointments. They hoped maybe with the constant appointments, they would find the issue. They found something. They didn't know how to fix it though. Han had been feeling worse recently, barely making it out of bed. But he promised to make an appearance at one more concert. Lee Know tries to prevent him from going, but seeing his favorite person on earth wanting only one last appearance, he lets him. He knew he shouldn't have, but he wanted to make Han happy.
