A science fanboy somehow manages to create a consciousness and puts it in an empty white room.
At first, the Entity knows nothing, but over time it learns more and more about reality and existing, often with the help of objects like tissues or apples placed inside by the scientist.
Will it eventually become a fully functioning animal (or whatever being it chooses to be) and be safe to let out into the world?
