Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Then you know, just add on the fact that his parents have him try to become friends with a girl who is well known for being a rebel it gets even harder. Sophie Foster's a tough girl. She's dealt with missions, being kidnapped all by herself, being a secret bandit, you know the usual stuff a fifteen year old girl gets into. She found her own way into the world she belonged in. Sure it might be messed up and biased but it was still her world and she was determined to protect it. Others might criticize her methods but hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
