A note from the 1960's gets pass on to one special person to change her land/home. This story will be written in two POV's The writer and the young lady who needs to help her home. Hope you enjoy this book, this is just a made up story that I thought of... its not really from the 1960's.

**WATTPAD & INKITT ARE MY ONLY PUBLISHING PLATFORMS. IF YOU SEE MY BOOKS ANYWHERE ELSE, PLEASE REPORT THEM!!** A 19 year old woman went through her teen years not in the easiest way. A few days after her 18th birthday, she found out she was pregnant, not to mention the father had no longer been in the picture. She finds herself on her own as her family disagreed with her choices of keeping the baby and disowned her, leaving her on the streets to fend for herself. She gets by the next 9 months with the last of her cash she built up over the past few years in motels, shelters and food banks up until the day she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl. Knowing she wasn't able to provide for her child, she tried multiple adoption centres, baby units, care centres but found herself refusing every one. A 20 year old man lived his life care free, drinking with his friends, providing for himself with a well paid job and strolling through life like a walk in the park. But one thing he didn't plan for is opening his door in the morning to wails and screams coming from a carrier with a simple note saying "She's yours." DISCLAIMER: There is some key information missing that could lead to a lot of confusion for some parts of the story and the timeline is a little chopped up, but I thank you for your patience when reading the book and hope you enjoy! :) Word Count: 38,000+ No.1 in #fatherhood from 2020-22. "Abort it." "Excuse me ?" "Abort that thing inside of you!" He shouts in my face. I put my hands on his chest, trying to put some space between us. The man didn't even budge. "I'm not aborting my baby!" I feel strong hands wrap around my throat, and the next thing I know, I'm being lifted off the floor, fighting for air. "Listen here, you bitch you will abort that child, and if you don't, I'll personally kill you both myself. I'm a man of my word. Do not test me." He spat dead calm. Elora finds herself in a sticky position when her brother was in a terrible car accident, leading to an expensive medical bill that neither of them could afford. Her parents died when she was young, leaving her brother as her sole guardian. The two had been incredibly close over the years, and she had to find a way to help him in his current position. She had no choice but to sleep with a man she knew nothing about for money to cover the hospital bill, but later found out she was pregnant. The worst-case scenario is that the father wants nothing to do with her and the unborn child. After three years of guilt, pain, and regret, the two cross paths once more, and Elora struggles to make the right decisions as he was determined to be in their little girl's life. -"Why are you crying?" What, I didn't know I was crying. -"Come on." He offers a hand to help me up. -"Stay away... from me." I get up on my own a grunt escaping my lips when I feel pain in my knees. -"Your knees!" He crouches down to look at them up close. -"Oh don't act as if you care." I look down and see he has wet hair, which is reasonable since he came out of the bathroom. *Swoop* He scoops me up, my injured knees on his left and my head rests on his right shoulder. I hitch as he picks me up. -"What do you think you're doing? Put me down this instant!" I try to wiggle out of his arms, but it's useless, he holds me tighter to his chest. He gently places me on the bed, and I sit on the edge, I instantly throw my hand to his face intending to slap him. As if it were muscle memory he blocks my hand and gently holds it. He crouches down not breaking eye contact. -"Stella, I'm... sorry. I acted out on you." I know Jacob, and that probably was hard for him to admit. -"Let me treat your knees." He places a gentle hand over my wound. ~ ~ ~ ~ Her Dad was murdered fighting for what was right, her mom didn't love her dad all that much...or her, she plans to follow her dad's footsteps even though that might lead her to death. Cali Olsen was on a mission to drive across the country. But her broken down car left her stranded until a stranger offered her a place to stay. And even though it was nice, she wasn't supposed to stay on the farm; let alone for six months. But something in her gut told her to stay - and she soon figures out why. Jay Roberts was your typical twenty year old. Partying, late nights and fun. But more than anything, he wanted to come home. And his mistakes brought him back. But he shows up and discovers a mystery girl has turned the farm upside down. And he can't figure out why. It also doesn't help that the girl wants to remain a mystery. Over the course of a long summer, two people will discover their need for not only each other, but to be saved. [WARNING: this is an old story from my earlier days as a writer; it's severely unedited and somewhat cringe-worthy - read at your own risk.]
